Christian
Education
At
St. Paul’s, we are striving to take seriously the challenge of making
disciples of Jesus Christ. This is a calling that is given to each
and every member of the Church, beginning with the very youngest
among us.

Our
Sunday School program is offered for all children of preschool
age, through 5th grade. The focus of our program is learning
the stories of the Bible. We are excited about developing
our program under the supervision of our new Sunday School
Director.
Our
Church School for ages Preschool through 6th Grades now
meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. as "The
Bible Zone". Each evening will begin with a kid-friendly
meal, followed by games, crafts, and Bible lessons.

As
children grow in their faith, we urge them to consider Confirmation
as a sacramental re-affirmation of their baptism. Confirmation is
offered as a two-year program, for youth who express a desire to
enter. Again, there is no age requirement, but rather an emphasis
on desire and parental conversation with the clergy.
Adults
are encouraged in their faith development in various ways. Bible
studies are offered year-round. Currently, a noontime study is held
on Wednesdays to consider the lessons assigned for the approaching
Sunday’s worship. A women’s study also meets on a weekly basis.
Development of a men’s bible study is underway. Occasional programs
are offered on Sunday mornings, both thematic and seasonal studies
of Scripture.
Future
offerings include an Alpha Course, and an exciting program called
"The Bible in 90 Days".
All
the programs designed to encourage Christian formation at St. Paul’s
Church begin with the end in mind: becoming more committed disciples
of the Lord Jesus.
